We got the Cali Benedict (all 3 of us), it was amazing! Loved it on top of a croissant, which was toasted perfectly, the hollandaise was delicious (so many places don't do it right), the hash browns were perfectly crispy. Excellent service and cute atmosphere. It's a popular place so we waited 15-20 min to sit down. Parking is difficult. Drop someone to get on the waitlist while you look for parking! Looks like they do a good bit of take out business as well. Best breakfast I've had this n Santa Cruz!
This place was cool. Wasn't blown away but wasn't disappointed. They had a variety of mimosas which was fun to choose from. Their carnitas burritos were really good and their hash browns were probably the best thing we had. It's a cute outdoor setting! My only complaint would be there's no ice in the water they give you, so on a warm day it gets hot fast. Other than that, servers were very attentive
The other reviews did not disappoint. We came for a late lunch on Saturday around 1pm and still had to wait for 45 mins! (They close at 2pm mind you). The servers were all so friendly and the place has a very chill vibe. Wanted to order everything from the menu so a but hard to choose aha. Ended up with breakfast burrito and Cali benedict worried it would not be enough for two. Both of us were very full and could not even finish sharing! Loved this place. What a gem!
Harbor Cafe in Santa Cruz is a breakfast gem that hits all the right notes. Their breakfast burritos are bursting with flavor, packed with savory ingredients that make every bite a delight. The Belgian waffles are perfectly fluffy and indulgent, with a hint of sweetness that pairs wonderfully with their fresh fruit toppings. To top it off, the mimosas are refreshing, perfectly balanced, and the ideal accompaniment to any brunch. If you're looking for a spot where every dish is a flavor sensation, Harbor Cafe is the place to be.
There's alway a line at this restaurant and I can see why... food was yummy and service was fast. Well sized portions of food so you are really getting your moneys worth in the food. I would definitely come back here again when I'm in town.
This was our second time coming here because we had such an amazing experience the first time and this time around it was no different For a busy morning that they had we got out food soo quick and it all tasted incredible we got the cali benny, breakfast burrito and the churro waffle that has reall cajeta !!!! And everyone kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything
Folks. I wish I could share a photo from my time at this establishment, but to be honest. The moment that breakfast burrito touched the table, I gobbled it down before you can say breakfast. Breakfast burrito, add carnitas. It will change your life. Great service, maybe a little slow, but understandable since this was a packed establishment. Hot as heck but they got us an umbrella which really changed the game. I'd say, give it a try!
I enjoy going to breakfast places like Harbor Cafe. They have good service and food. I ordered their Cali Benedict, it comes with avocados and hash browns. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, so it tasted delicious! They have a tiki bar in their patio where they serve alcoholic breakfast cocktail and coffee as well. I went there on a Sunday and the wait wasn't bad, only 25 minutes. Parking was a little bit harder to find. I liked my experience and I highly recommend this place!
Hands down one of the best breakfast places I have ever visited. It's very casual, beach aesthetic, and just plain fun. The place has an energetic vibe. There's both an indoor seating area and a large outdoor one as well. Both have bars. No reservations, so first come, first serve. I came on two busy weekend mornings and didn't wait long at all (at the most 5-10 minutes). They turn tables quickly. The menu has plentiful choices for both breakfast or lunch. For my first breakfast, I had the frittata. At first, it looked a little burned on top, but it was actually nicely charred a bit and ever so good. There are slices of avacado on top. It was chocked full of cheese. It came with some salsa and sour cream. Oh my goodness, I was in breakfast heaven and was so stuffed I couldn't finish the enormous portion. That's unheard of for me as I always clean the plate. It came with a scrumptious biscuit, flakey and perfectly made. On the other morning, I got the Nutella French Toast with strawberries on top. Do not miss this wonderful breakfast treat! It is exceptional. With maple syrup... YUM! I got a side order of Chicken Apple Sausage with it. Both mornings, I had orange juice, which was fresh and a great compliment to the meal. Prices might seem a bit high, but the quality and portions add to the value to justify it. What was amazing was the level of service. These folks truly have their act together, and although they scurry about they always are pleasant, smile, and professional. Kudos. If you're ever in the area, be sure to stop here. You'll be glad you did.
We found Harbor Cafe for Brunch while staying in Santa Cruz for the night. It had pretty good reviews so we stopped in. We arrived and there was about a 20 minute wait for the table, so we stopped by a park across the street for a change of view while we waited for our text. We were seated in a perfect table for the three of us, a corner table inside with room for our stroller as well. We ordered a side of fries for the kid to start on, while we waited for our breakfast. I ordered the country benedict with sausage and sausage gravy, my boyfriend got the California benedict. Breakfast was good, service was great and we all had a good morning.
